House rules are like assholes, everybody has one, and thinks that everyone else's stink.
Still, I'm offering mine here. I've put them in a TenFootWiki since it makes it easier for me to update. TenFootWiki is a modification of TiddlyWiki. What does this mean? well, a wiki is a special kind of website designed to be easy to edit, and that's usualy open for editing by anyone. One fo the best known wikis is the Wikipedia. One of the best features of wikis is that they are very easy to edit, and they support very complex cross referencing. Now, TiddlyWiki and all it's derivations are client side wikis. What does this mean? It means that they're wikis that are designed for personal use, instead of communitary efforts.
So, if the advantage of wikis is that they're editably by everyone, what use does a client side wiki have? Well, as I said before, wikis are very easy to edit, suport very robust cross-referencing, and best of all, these wikis are contained in a single HTML file that you can edit using only your browser, and thus is cross platform. I find it very good at organizing my ideas, and I recomend that you use it.
